Veggie Bingo Swap & Share at Garfield Park Conservatory

On Saturday, September 7th, from 11 am to 4 pm, the Garfield Park Conservatory is hosting their second annual Harvest Day celebration. In addition to horse and buggy rides, kids’ games, and corn husk crafting, they will host a Veggie Bingo Swap & Share inspired by our friends at the Hideout.

Calling all backyard growers and community gardeners! Are your neighbors tired of receiving your gifts of extra zucchini and tomatoes at their doorstep? We have an answer for you! Come share your surplus veggies at our 2nd annual Veggie Bingo Swap and Share! Bring a basket of fresh vegetables from your garden to swap and share and possibly win back with other bingo participants…

Visitors to this Harvest Day event receive one free bingo card, but can receive more cards by either bringing in home grown produce, or paying a small card fee. Veggie donations can be dropped off all day beginning at 10 am, and bingo starts at 11 am and runs to 4 pm. We will have baskets, just bring your veggies!
