City in an Orchard – Upcoming Workshops

Join a collective effort to support the care of our urban orchards and be part of a team of volunteers who will help these trees thrive for generations.

NeighborSpace is excited to nurture our “City in an Orchard” through these FREE workshop opportunities:

• Screen Printing: sharing the story of your trees at Plaza Huitzil (4741 S Elizabeth St) Friday September 11th 5pm to 7pm

• Pawpaw Seed Giveaway and Fruit Tasting at La Huerta Roots and Rays (1523 W Cullerton St) Sunday September 13th 10am-Noon
• Pawpaw U-Pick at Monticello Garden (2227 N Monticello Ave) Sunday September 13th 3pm-5pm
• Soil Health Workshop at Garfield Park Community Orchard (3024 W Fifth Ave) Saturday September 19th 9:30am-Noon RSVP
• Wood Chipper and Chainsaw training TBD
