This garden was built in 2011 as a memorial to Ferd Kramer who was a partner in Draper & Kramer real estate, a firm very active in the development of Dearborn Park in the near South Loop. A small group of dedicated neighborhood gardeners tend shrubs and perennials such as sumac, butterfly bush, cardinal flower, Joe-Pye weed, allium summer beauty, echinacea, wild geraniums, northern sea oats, and perennial grasses.
