Connecting Chicago Community Gardens (CCCG) is having its Fall Meeting this October 23rd from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at the Chicago Center for Green Technology (CCGT), 445 N Sacramento Blvd.
After a successful summer of gardening, it’s time to reconvene CCCG! We will spend some time looking back at the successes of 2013 (annual gardener conference, reacting to the weed ordinance, garden tours, plant giveaways) and ahead at our goals for next year. In 2014 Chicago will host the 35th annual American Community Garden Association Conference. How will we all play a role in this historic gathering?
Lastly, we have the opportunity to create a sequel to the wonderful gathering of 200 gardeners we put together in February. As you might recall, last year we only had three weeks to pull off the biggest gardener meeting the City had seen in years. This year we have 4 months and an offer by the Chicago Flower and Garden show to host. Imagine what we can accomplish!
Please RSVP to info@neighbor-space.org if you plan to attend. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
